If you were to see just one, imo, see the Uprising scene in Children of Men. Imo, one of the best shot scenes in cinematic history.

Yeah, if you LOVED PoA, you're gonna love that film. Its in my top 10 and its a sci-fi masterpiece. Best film for 2006 imo. I loved every second of it. And the cinematography: OH MY GOD!

For me:

1- Finale Battle in Avatar... Best battle ever, simply amazing, artistically beautiful
2- Minas Tirith Battle in The Return of the King... Epic as hell, amazing visual effects
3- Elm's Deep Battle in The Two Towers... Dark, complicated and very well structured
4- Finale Battle in The Chronicles of Narnia 1... Amazing visual effects for a kids movie, breath taking landscape and amazing music score
5- The Battle in Pearl Harbor... Incredible slow motion sequences, beautiful cinematography and saddest music score ever


But I think that Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 will be in my list when it comes out :)

1. Pelennor Fields in Lord of the Rings: Return of the King
2. The Storming of Fort Wagner in GLORY
3. D-DAY Omaha beach Saving Private Ryan
4. Pearl Harbor Attack in Pearl Harbor (I can't believe I'm endorsing Michael Bay)
5. Chronicles of Narnia (The Final Battles in Both films)

There are plenty others that I really enjoy but these are my favorites for personal reasons.

I was in Chicago while they were filming transformers 3 last week and the battle looks great from what they are filming . Bigger than any battle footage I saw from DH . NOT JUDGING!!!

Hey I jus thought about somethin . In the poster if a huge chunk is missing out of the tower by the great hall building, then the grand stair case is destroyed . So how are people going to transport to other parts of the castle. So the battle must be happening on half the grand stair case,entrance hall, great hall, entrance courtyard and grounds?

@ Cliftonk - No, the poster is just an artwork and does not depict the real state of the battle-struck castle. Its not a photo which shows the real Hogwarts because the Hogwarts shown in the poster is diffrent from the Hogwarts in the movie. So people will definately be fighting throughout the length and breadth of Hogwarts.

movie overall was horrible.


I bet they can improve on

TF1 was a good popcorn film, nothing more, nothing less.

TF2 was 2 and a half hours of explosions, Megan Fox running in slow motion, and swearing robots beating the sh!t out of each other. It was horrible.

I love the Transformer movies. They could have done quite a bit better with the story on 'Revenge of the Fallen', but I think the robot battles in the movies are pretty darn good. The forest battle in ROTF was pretty awesome. And really that's all I'm looking for in the Transformer movies. Giant robot battles. Yep.

I hope they do much better with the story this time around for Transformers 3.

I can't stand Megan Fox. I'm glad they got rid of her for T3.

I never said that, Emma is so much better then Megan. That was actually a complaint for me. Shes not all that hot as people make her out to be and she can't act to save her life.

A lot of people were disappointed/hated Transformers 2, I wonder if Transformers 3 will do as good as box office wise as the first two did.
I don't know. The humor in TF2 was a bit too much, and I don't need to see crotch shots of the actors

I wonder if the same guys who wrote TF2 wrote the script for TF3....

Hmm...yeah, it may not beat TF domestically. I mean TF2 made 400 million in the US alone, but it didn't do as well overseas as HP does.
