Megamind, Tron, Buried and other semi-blockbuster films released high-def 2-3 minute trailers from Comic-Con. Other big anticipated films like Pirates 4 didn't release high-def, we waited for bootleg footage to leak online. So it looks as though DH1 Comic Con footage might be bootleg version?? Not sure yet.

I have my doubts we'll get to see it . . .

Yes, the Pirates footage leaked as well as the 4 minute preview of AMC's "The Walking Dead" but nothing from Tron leaked out (other than the 2nd Trailer that hit the web but the special SDCC stuff never made it past security). I've got a feeling they are keeping a close watch on the big films (like Potter).

Keep our fingers crossed is the best we can do I guess.

Sure Pirates is a big film but that wasn't footage from the movie . . . It was footage of just Johnny Depp sitting in a chair goofing off. (BTW - the IQ jab was really polite . . thanks for the insult)

Ok . . . The POTC clip was not official footage from the film, it was just Depp doing a promo. So that leaking isn't that big of a deal. What is the big deal was the TONS of Tron Legacy footage they showed right before that (literally minutes before that in the same panel) . . .but notice none of that leaked.

There has been TONS of footage shown at Comic Con already and very little of it has leaked. So I'm just saying I have my doubts (not saying it couldn't happen, just thinking it's unlikely)

Trust me, I hope somebody catches it on video . . . but I'm trying to be realistic. I've been covering Comic Con news and stories for the past couple of years and I know how this stuff goes. I just don't want to get my hopes up TOO high to only be disappointed.

According to Mugglenet...and I've done some checking; Comic con will be showing coverage on channel G4. Luckily my cable company carries that channel, hopefully they'll show something good. They are supposed to be starting their coverage at 3 pm (Eastern). They also have a web site, don't know if they'll show anything there but check things out here.
