Well that is the thing. There are people that still have vhs tapes though i am not sure if you can still buy a player.
That was one thing that bugged me when they phased out VCR's. I now have all these VHS that I can't afford to upgrade to dvd.
I think you can still buy VCR's. We bought a dvd recorder/VCR combo last year. I don't know if they still have them now though.
And wow the Avatar Special Edition looks great. 45 minutes of deleted scenes, exclusive alternate opening (which make for a 3-hour extended cut) and 8 hours of BTS footage? Now THAT is a special edition.
Aaron,no HBP wont be on dvd 3D perhaps 3D blu ray..
Then why did it say that on one of the set reports?! Or did I read too fast and misunderstand?
Finally, we asked the director to discuss Warner Bros. choice to convert the final two films into 3D. "I'm just literally getting into all of that now," he explained. "We're going to release Half-Blood Prince in 3D on DVD towards the end of the year so I'm still learning. My own idea about 3D is that it is there to enhance the viewing experience but I don't think that you have to use it in a tricky way. I think that the minute you sacrifice story and character for something coming out of the screen, I think you've lost it. So if it enhances, for a certain number of the audience, the viewing experience than that's great. For this magical world I think there are a number of sequences that would be much more fun just experiencing in a wider environment. But I'm not crazy about using it in a tricky way," Yates said.
Has anyone seen the commercial that lion king comes out in blu ray diamond edition next year? I get chills all the time, lion king is a 5 star top of the line movie thats part of my childhood..
Okay so that means i can watch it the way it came out originally because that is really all that matters to me. I might buy the three disc with blu ray and dvd even though i don't have a blu ray player.
Yeah i have. One my very good friends has a huge high def television with a blu ray player and i go over there and watch movies now and then. It isn't worth it.
Well obviously it has been reported numerous times, and so likely, but has it been confirmed by Warner Bros.? God, I just want a Batman 3 title already! The "Batman" in the title sounds so weird.

I am not buying a bluray player until they are cheaper.

yes it is i shouldve waited!!! Ugh..
As long as the price goes down for blu rays i will buy them, but they are too expensive now and the quality isn't worth it to me.
Then why did it say that on one of the set reports?! Or did I read too fast and misunderstand?
What does this mean then?
I think they bring one out one of the big ones from the vault every year.
