The changes sound good,and they will bring a certain freshness into the movie, for the book readers. The only part I can not understand is that why in the name of Merlin will the Dementors attack a cooling tower? :/

Apart from that, everything sounds good. I cant wait to see Harry's duel with Umbridge. Stupid old hag :@

It may be a scene like the dementors hanging out in that town when Harry goes to get food feeding off of the humans fear, instead they are hanging out at this cooling tower. I don't really know either. It does seem a little odd.

I really wanna see the ghoul!!!! I doubt itll be on the film,its not important. But i like it. Id just show the ghoul and explain fast wat it is. And Ted tonks should be there to cry over his daughters dead body! Wat about Tonks mother,will they use Helena to play her?!?

I don't think Tonks' parents are in the film. I think they go right to the burrow during the Seven Potters scene.

Oh yes, Ted is dead before the end of the book. I am still not sure how the trio is going to hear the news about Ginny, Neville, and Luna going after the sword. Like i am not sure what is going to instigate the fight that causes Ron to leave.

The dialogue in the MTV teaser suggests that the argument is still about something similar to the book.

Harry: 'You think i don't know how this feels?'
Ron: 'You don't know how it feels. Your parents are dead. You have no family.'

I just don't think they are going to overhear Ted, Dean, Griphook, and the other goblin tell the story. I don't know how that is all going to play out.

Also there was a fan who saw Daniel filming by a cooling tower and spoke to him. There were no photos, so who knows. I am not sure if anyone else was on set. Let me check.

PS. I guess it doesn't say. All we know is that Daniel was on set.

I hope they cut the ghoul, and just find another way to excuse Ron's absence throughout the book. Maybe it's just me, but that whole part of the book felt as though it belonged in one of the earlier books. "The Ghoul In Pyjamas"? That wouldn't have been out of place in PS or COS... Maybe they could just...have Ron fake his own death or something? I don't know, the whole ghoul part seemed to childish for my liking.

I do agree, I found the Ghoul plan quite ludicrous and it was even more ridiculous that Ministry official fell for the damn thing.

Well it was just an idea of using Dobby. I have thought that could work, but who knows. It would be a good way to use Dobby and not stop the trio from feeling isolated. I think it is still important that the trio feel isolated.

I don't think I have any problems with any of the "changed" scenes, the "added" scenes, or the cut parts. I'm not too worried about Ted Tonks cut or the Ghoul. I look forward to the duel between Harry and Umbridge.
The trio discussing the Horcruxes outside is no biggie, because they're still discussing them.
Does anyone know how Harry ends up with Sirius' mirror? Maybe he finds it in Grimmauld Place.
Is it confirmed that we will know that Luna has been captured, or will they leave it unknown until Xeno's house?
So far, I don't have any real problems with the info on this movie. My biggest concern, is how they are going to handle the Horcruxes and whether or not they're going to connect them to the Hogwarts founders. That's one thing I don't want them to change.

I agree with muggle. I'm only too worried about the Horcruxes and how that info will play out in the story. Nothing else, changed or added, really worries me too bad.

Just because Ted Tonks hasn't been cast doesn't mean that someone can't do a voice over, does it?

That just all seems very weird. It would make more sense to me to actually have them meet someone in the forest. Maybe they will meet griphook. I always thought it was so random in the books for them to run into someone they know and overhear them talk about Ron's family of all people.

But decarus, at that point of time the whole wizarding world would've been talking about the trio cause they were perhaps the most wanted wizards, so running into someone who knows about them and their family would actually make sense.

It is still very random. Maybe you run into some wizards, but the chances that they would be talking about Ron's family right at that moment of all moments. It just seemed very weird.
