The Order of the Movies :)
We know the books are awesome and I cannot compare them with the films, due to them being separate mediums. But I thought it would be interesting to see everyone's order of the movies. They're all fantastic films, but I would rank them in this order :
1 POA - brilliant, the tone and scenery was amazing.
2 GOF - wonderfully magical, caught the sense of danger rising
3 HBP - magnificently beautiful, magical, the most emotional out of the six.
4 PS - a sensational introduction to the universe, capturing the wonder of the world.
5 COS - a great follow up to PS and a superb adaptation.
6 OOTP - had a political, depressed feeling but sometimes lacking the awe of magic.

2. POA - I hadn't read the books when I saw it, so I didn't know the whole Maurader story, but the Harry's Patronus was the reason I wanted to read the books, because I wanted to know why his Patronus was a stag. It took me a few tries (with the books), but eventually got to it, and loved the story.
3. OOTP - I just really liked the movie. The LV/DD scene and Harry possessed was fantastic.
4. GOF - I liked it, but hadn't read the book yet, and after I finally read the book, I wish this film could have been two parts, as well. I loved loved LOVED the graveyard scene. Ralph Fiennes was an excellent choice for Lord Voldemort.
5. HBP - It was a beautiful movie and I cried when DD fell. My only complaint was lack of Horcux talk.
6. SS - It's got the most magical feel out of all the movies.
7. COS - I still like it, it's just my least favorite.
....although I guess I'd lean more towards part 2, because it'll have two of my most favorite chapters 'The Forest Again' and 'Prince's Tale'.
I just hope they don't muck them up.

Careful here, you've been slamming Yates left and right for the past couple of weeks because his films leave all kinds of things out. Now you're saying books are books and movies are movies and it's all about the entertainment? That's a bit hypocritical don't you think? I honestly don't care if you like the films for entertainment or if you like them to be more book accurate but be consistent :-)
I'll have to agree with Mosaico

PoA/ HBP - I literally CAN NOT decide!!
PS
OotP/Gof/CoS
It is really difficult for me to decide.
Hummm and dashape, not to be rude or antything, but you have no right to tell richard if he is an hypocrit. I mean he can change his mind, and you do not have to keep track of everything he says.
2. POA
3. OOTP
4. GOF
5. SS
6. COS
I wouldn't have said anything but richard and I have a difference of an opinion concerning Yates. His whole ongoing debate with me over the past month has been that Yates pretty much sucks because he doesn't stick to the books. Then he turns around and says that it's not about sticking to the books but about the experience. . . you tell me what that is. If I was out of line I'll apologize and I meant no offense richard at all . . . if you've changed your mind about Yates richard let me know :-)
Oh, and please don't talk about who has what right in an open online forum geez LOL. That's so open to interpretation it makes my head hurt. I have as much right to call someone a "hypocrite" as you do a "hater" in a different thread as long as it's warranted (however I hate name calling which is why I asked if it was hypocritical and never actually called anyone the name hypocrite)
On the other thread I refered to you, because I see you are against some aspects that people point out that are plain stupid. Just as I am.
Now, on THIS thread I think you crossed the line by calling richard a hypocrite, when he has the right to change his mind WHENEVER HE WANTS. (Also notice that I wasn't aware of your "Yates Discussion", that it has been going on), and for that I apologize.
i really mean is that im pissed at wat he leaves out, puts in, etc.
However, you implied that he was stupid in the other thread. Just pointing out that it was like the Pot calling the Kettle black.
What I said, go and chaeck if you like, is that the complain about the locket - POINTED OUT BY LORD STAFFORD-was stupid, and also that they were blaming him for this difference.
Also blaming him for taking out parts of the book, and I believe that the man doing the script is STEVE KLOVES in HBP and MICHAEL GOLDENBERG in OOTP
Still, regardless if you called richard stupid or stafford stupid . .. you referred to one of them or both of them as stupid and then called me out for saying saying "hypocritical".
It's ok, I'm done now. I'm officially apologizing to richard for saying Hypocritical and offending you and being out of line. Richard, you're a good kid who helps keeps this forum active and alive :-) I've said enough and you are more than welcome to have the last word Godric.
*lol* Ah, the hair. The hair was awful in GOF. I think POA has been the closest to what I think Harry's hair is supposed to be like. POA hair was pretty good.
I hope they keep Kingsley's patronus warning message in DH.
Awesomeness! I'm happy to hear that.
I like the hair look in DH so far too.
Overall everything looks great in Dh, to be honest.
