The Taylor Swift Appreciation Thread.

This is my official tribute to her. You can pay tribute to her, if you wish, as this is the place where you can discuss the person, and her songs. You can also post videos and pictures of her, and, if you've ever been lucky enough to meet her, you can post anything regarding that. In the meantime, I will post my favourite songs, videos and pictures of Taylor.
I appreciate Taylor Swift, for everything she does, and for everything she is.

For the first time ever in her stratospheric career, Taylor Swift has a No. 1 pop song with "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together." Billboard reports that the enigmatic tune has scored the best-ever sales by a woman and the second-largest sales week overall. According to Nielsen SoundScan, the single tops the Digital Songs chart with 623,000 copies sold and jumps from No. 72 to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.Ke$ha held the previous record for a female artist, while rapper Flo Rida scored the best week ever with 636,000 copies of "Right Round" sold in one week in 2009.
Taylor has previously reached the No. 2 spot with "Today Was a Fairytale" in 2010 and "You Belong With Me" in 2009. To date, the 22-year-old has sold more than 50 million downloads, with 17.8 million albums sold in the U.S. Her fourth studio album, Red, is set for release on Oct. 22.
Taylor also tops the Country Digital Tracks chart, moving Little Big Town's "Pontoon" to No. 3 and leaving Carrie Underwood "Blown Away" at No. 2. Hunter Hayes' "Wanted" is No. 4 and Jason Aldean's "Take a Little Ride" is No. 5.
On the country album chart, Zac Brown Band's Uncaged returns to the top spot, with last week's No. 1, Independence Day by Colt Ford, dropping to No. 4. Carrie Underwood's Blown Away album is No. 2 and Luke Bryan's Tailgates and Tanlines is No. 3. The No. 5 album, Tuskegee, by Lionel Richie, zooms back up from No. 13. The top debut of the week, Blackberry Smoke's The Whippoorwill, comes in at No. 8.
