It sucks fucking balls. The direction is weak and the worst of art cinema, on par with von trier's nonsense. The acting consists of nothing but atrocious glaring I like the movie and the film is marred by excessive violence, violence that feels out of place. The soundtrack is annoying as hell I like the movie as it pretends to be from the 80s, making it another film from 2011 that works in nostalgia from the past.

So Crucify the ego, before it's far too late, to leave behind this place so negative and blind and cynical. And you will come to find that we are all one mind, capable of all that's imagined and all conceivable.
SERIOUSLY, it's a crime that it only got 1 Oscar nomination. It deserved nominations for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Score, Best Sound Editing AND Mixing, Best Actor - Gosling, Actress - Carey Mulligan, Supporting Actor - Albert Brooks...among many others.

@Nick, please tell me you caught on to what I think.

I like Drive, by the way, as my post states. A real hero!

Anyway the music and sound editing were a big part of why I liked it. The plot wasn't deep or anything but the movie was clearly made with slick aesthetics in mind and I did like the characters. It was just a very cool, slick and relaxing film to watch.

Didn't you just say it fucking sucked balls? :-?

So what was the point of putting one view literally right in the middle of a contradicting paragraph? Did you like it or not? :P
@aaron, there are no spoiler tags here, so the trickery wouldn't work any other way.

Drive had the 2nd BEST opening in a movie this year. DH2 is number 1! I was on the edge of my seat the first 5 seconds hahaha. The only thing I didn't like was that it was filled with awkward pauses. I psycho like Ryans character should be socially awkward though. Idk it was so good though.
I was surprised by how gory the death scenes were.
I loved them all, thought they were each unique in some way. However, if I had to omit one, it would be Cook's. That shit was just plain nasty. Were those knives sterilized?

And while you explain, go to the star wars thread and explain why you like ROTJ more than ROTS, because I want to know what you think.
