Re: The Love Thread
I'm in a fantastic relationship with someone I really genuinely love. We are almost at our first year anniversary. Ive had a lot of meh relationships in the past so It's great to finally be with someone that will always listen, be understanding, interested in stuff going on, and also supportive. Not to mention having the same taste in music, movies, books, etc and also being able to have new things that we can show to each other and check out.

Re: The positive thread.
It has been a year since I changed my eating habits and today, I can officially say that I have lost 80 lbs. I hasn't been easy, but now I'm healthier and I feel more comfortable in my own skin (as cliche as it sounds). :P

Re: Official The Cuckoo's Calling Thread - New Book Written by JK Rowling
I think that at this point we all should stop to think and decide whether we are J.K. Rowling fans or just Harry Potter fans, and that's completely ok. Furthermore, I beg some people to finally accept the fact that they are only Harry Potter fans and let go of her, because it's becoming more and more annoying how people bash on her work just because “she's lost her magic.” God knows how many people have said that, and I think it's totally unfair.
I am now utterly convinced of the fact that I'm a J.K. Rowling fan. I have never been less to entertained by everything that woman writes or says, whether a Potter novel or a political column for the Guardian. I absolutely LOVED 'The Casual Vacancy.' While I can see why some people didn't like that book and why it's not a book for everybody, it's utterly unfair for people to call it a dreadful and boring book, because it's not. It all comes down to tastes and points of view, and to me that book's a master piece.
So I just hope everyone in the fandom to be mature enough to read this new book (or decide not to read it) for what it is: a new, different and completely Potter-unrelated project. If you like it, stick with Jo. If you don't, go re-read the Harry Potter series and stop getting excited every time she announces a new book.

Re: Official The Cuckoo's Calling Thread - New Book Written by JK Rowling
Instead of Robert Galbraith, J.K. Rowling should have published it under a name like Mark Winjiglo. And then in a very Tom Riddle fashion revealed it actually is an anagram that says “I am JK Rowling."
How cool would that have been?
